Our Shimmerings Collection feature one-of-a-kind, handcrafted necklaces, each with a  shimmery Dichroic Glass pendant, which seems to magically shift colors as you move it.  Each design is unique, paired with Swarovski crystals and/or Czech glass beads to complement the colors.  The 2-inch by 5/8-inch pendant is suspended on an 18-inch sterling silver chain with a tiny, sterling silver tag which bears our Dreamscape Jewelry Design logo, ensuring this is an original design.

Dichroic glass creates a distinct visual impact by changing color in different lighting conditions or from various angles. This effect results from a complex process that applies multiple micro-layers of metal oxides to the glass surface. Materials like titanium, silicon or magnesium create an interference effect, causing the glass to reflect and transmit different wavelengths of light.
