Description

The scarlet macaw (Ara macao) is a large, vibrantly colored parrot, native to humid  forests of the Southern Americas.  Scarlet Macaws can live up to 75 years, and actually mate for life, which is how we were inspired to name this new addition to our Silverstone/Silhouette Collection: Love In Paradise.  Our one-of-a-kind necklace features 20 carats of a vibrant turquoise, spiny oyster and copper composite in a handcrafted, two-sided pendant.  The stunning gemstone is in full view one side, while on the reverse side is a parrot sitting serenely on a bronze branch.  The 1 7/8-inch by 1-inch sterling silver pendant is suspended on an 18-inch sterling silver chain.  A tiny, sterling silver tag bears our Dreamscape Jewelry Design logo, ensuring this is an original design.
