December 19, 2021: Christmas Quotes to Inspire Your Holiday Spirit

The Christmas holidays are finally upon us. Although holiday merchandise floods some stores as early as September, Thanksgiving seems to be the starting gate, with a flood of advertisements promoting it as the most wonderful time of the year! While each one of us has our own special celebrations, treasured memories and family traditions we want to incorporate into our homes, we’re all invited to get into and savor the “Holiday Spirit” which encompasses giving and kindness to others. These positive feelings seem to be a complete antitheses to the stress we can have from all the endless demands; fulfilling and rushing to meet all of our own personal holiday expectations. Yet throughout all of the busyness of this holiday season, we can choose to respond negatively to the undeniable challenges, or to focus instead on the moments that bring us contentment, happiness and joy.

While unpacking treasured decorations and ornaments this week, I realized how many memories are tied into each one, bringing forth both images of joyful Christmases past and the missing of loved ones who are no longer with us. Christmas as a result, can be a bittersweet time, but also one that we hold in our hearts throughout the year. With all the conflict, sadness and worry of today’s modern world, the traditions of Christmas remind us to treasure those moments that linger in our hearts, long after the holiday has passed. These moments are truly the golden threads that weave through the tapestry of our lives.

What tradition brings joy to your heart?

We’ve gathered some of our favorite Christmas quotes from inspired souls to help you celebrate this special time of year. As we discovered and read each one, we were filled with a sense of gratitude for all that makes this season so special. We invite you to share them with someone who might find it meaningful and welcome any thoughts or quotes that you would like to share. Thank you once again for taking the time out of your busy day to read our thoughts.

Stay healthy and safe, Wendy & Ron

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy, and Healthy Holiday Season
