July 4, 2021-A Celebration of Courage, Dreams, Hope & Unity

The Fourth of July celebrates America’s birthday as an independent nation which occurred in 1776, two hundred and forty-five years ago. The tradition of displaying the vibrant colors of red, white and blue calls for us to remember the history and significance behind this national holiday. Whether you’re celebrating with cookouts, parades and/or fireworks, we sincerely hope that for a time, our country can remember the struggles our ancestors endured to ensure our independence and freedom. Despite the conflicts and troubles we have endured as a nation over the years, we truly are fortunate to live in a country, where our voices can not only be expressed, but heard and if not welcomed, tolerated.

We hope that with these inspiring quotes from a myriad of voices from the past to the present, we can be reminded once again, of how truly precious freedom is for our country and become both healed and united once more.

In the face of impossible odds, people who love their country can change it.
