May 23, 2021: Savoring the Sweetness of Spring

“Spring: a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be.”

Anonymous

Spring, in 2021, seems to be Mother Nature’s antidote to the past year trials and tribulations. After a year of economic worries, a pandemic, and social isolation, Spring this year seems particularly determined to show us that change is part of life, and we can make it through seasons of hardships to bloom and thrive once more.

This past week, we’ve headed out each day to see what treasures Spring has brought us. From being serenaded by a dawn chorus of courting birds and the sweet scent of lilacs on the breeze, to spotting clusters of Lady Slippers and welcoming the return of our hummingbirds, these daily changes are reaffirming about the resiliency of life, bringing back both hope and optimism for the days ahead.

Today’s Blog will share some of our favorite sights this week along with quotes that inspire us, and hopefully you as well.

Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer.
