Savannah jasper (a.k.a. Polychrome jasper, Desert Jasper) was discovered in 2008 on the northern coast of Madagascar. A Savannah is grassland scattered with trees, which is also a home to large herds of elephants, giraffes and zebras in warm climates like Africa.
Our one-of-a-kind Savannah Necklace features 10 carats of Savannah Jasper, handcrafted into a 1 1/2-inch by 7/8-inch sterling silver pendant, and is suspended on an 18-inch sterling silver chain.
